My sister Judy is so great. She lets my family stay at her house every time we are in NY. This is the card I made to send her with a note of THANKS inside. (I LOVE MY SISTERS) Sure do miss all of you in NY.

Viola gift card holder

I used this cute chef from the viola stamp set. It is actually a gift card holder inside. I just used the slit punch (twice, once on each side)and Stamped the word Bon Appetite!

I made this card at one of my workshop. I wanted to give it to my sister Gloria. She loves frogs.

Simply Said Thank you card

This is a second card we made at the workshop Monday night in upstate New York. If you notice it is very similar to the card I made at my Wednesday workshop. I used  different colors and a background stamp. Don't be afraid to try new colors.

Birthday Card

This is the other card we made at my Wednesday Workshop (8/20). I really love making birthday cards. And cupcakes are so in right now. I will send my nephew to celebrate his 4th birthday.

Simply Said

Inspired by the card on page 59 of the Stampin' Up! Fall-Winter 2008 Idea & Catalog Book. This card was one of the two made at my Wednesday Workshop (8/20).

Motion Card

     During convention, Brent showed us an adorable motion card using the new Under the Stars set. While waiting for that set I thought I would try to make a motion card using another set. So I choose the Sock Monkey stamp set. His cupcake and hat move. 

Eastern Bloom Card for a card Swap

Last night I attended our Upline's meeting. It was full of excitement and information. At the end we always have the option to swap a card. This was my swap. 

This card features our new Bella Rose Designer Series Paper, new IN COLOR Pink Pirouette Card Stock, the new Scallop Edge Punch,  new stamp sets Eastern Blooms and Flight of the Butterfly(the words), and Fine Cosmo Stampin' Glitter.

Essence of Love

 A few months ago this technique (stenciling with daubers) was shown at a downline meeting during a round robin. (Thanks Wendy!) I absolutely loved it. I had to get the stamp and try it for myself. I found it to be easy to get great results. I still  love it so much. I wanted to find a current SU! stamps that would work with it. So I played around with Lovely as a Tree. I was pleased with my results.

Cards, Cards and more Cards!

Stampin' Up! held their annual convention at the Salt Palace Convention Center.

Many Demonstrators (over 6000) came together and had a great time. New products was unveiled. We swapped, we laughed, we cried and we cheered. Especially when the men in brown brought us all free stamps. Head were definitely spinning from all the ideas and excitement. But the ENERGY left me charged to create. 

I, too, want to inspire others to create, so I started this BLOG! (Thanks Fairle for the info!)

Earlier this month I returned home from Salt Lake City, Utah.  It is such  beautiful city.
