Simply Said Thank you card

This card may look familiar to some of you.

This is the card we made in Stamp Club this month.

I also shared this at a shoe box swap this month.

Inspired by a card made by Lynn, I created this card that could easily be a Spring, Easter, Birthday or even a Mother's day card. Just change out the words.

Using an old time favorite stamp set, Simply Said and paring it up along with one of my new favorite the Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die I stamped this adorable card.

Take a piece of Bride Specialty Paper cut it into 4" x 5 1/4" and sponge on some Cameo Coral Classic Ink to create the beautiful background paper. The Big Shot along with the Scallop Oval Die and Whisper White cardstock gives you the right shape to stamp the image on. Sponge Bashful Blue and Old Olive Classic Ink in the respective places. Glue on your Butterflies with Tombow Mutli Purpose Adhesive to complete the look.

Valentines Flowers

Happy Valentine's Day to you all.

What a great time to let our friends, family and significant others know that we love them.

I thought today I would share what my oldest son, Mitchel, made for his girlfriend Samantha(Sammy).

A candy Bouquet!

Using the Big Shot with the Stampin Up! Flower Folds Die along with Rose Red and Regal Rose card stock, he was able to cut petals for his flowers. After layering them he poked a hole through the center to put a Cherry Tootsie pop. Put the end of the lollipop into a straw, wrapping it with Floral tape.
For his vase he layered MM's and Mini Marshmallows, to hold his flowers in place. Finishing it off with a piece of Rose Red 1" Double Stitched Grosgrain ribbon.

Totally sweet!

Class Valentines

Valentine's Day is upon us and since today is the last school day before Valentine's. I thought I would share some treats.

This first one was created by my Down Line Shannon Freeman. She used the Heart Treat cups and the  Sweetheart stamp set to create these adorable treats to be handed out by her son RJ.

My son, Jonathan and I went an easier route. We ordered the Love Bots-Boys.             My son easily put these together. Then we put an Oatmeal pie (School Guide lines don't allow candy at my son's school).
Both Jonathan and I thought of the same thing when we looked at this one.
We thought of Disney's Laugh Floor,  Where the monsters all greet the humans with "Hello Humans!" and everyone raises their hands and makes a noise.

Jonathan's Penguin Framed Art

Happy Birthday to my youngest son, Jonathan.

He is eleven today!

We are in Walt Disney World today celebrating his Birthday. Tonight we will go to Chef Mickey for a birthday meal.

I wanted to share what I made my son for his birthday. If you recall he LOvEs penguins. Yes he still likes them. Here is the Framed Art I made for his room.  I am sure he will LOvE it.

I used the Big Shot and one of  my favorite alphabet the Serif Essentials Bigz Die.

I used just a few punches to create these adorable penguins.

What supplies did I use?
Well Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Basic Black, and Brilliant Blue card stock; 1/4" Real Red Ribbon; 1 1/4 " Circle, 5-Petal Flower, Small Oval, Large Oval and Wide Oval Punch; and Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper (that's the back ground paper, cute isn't it)

Flower Thank You card

Isn't this a cute card. It was one of the make and takes from Leadership in Phoenix, Arizona.

Just so stinkin' cute. What a great way to use the new Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch.

Are you wondering what is that image behind the Flower?
Well it is the A to Z stamp on page 42 of the Occasion Mini catalog.

I just LOvE the idea of using the ribbon for the leaves.

Simple Bird Thank You Card

Happy Ground Hogs Day!

Will the Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow this morning?

I am hoping for Six more weeks to Spring.

Here is a very simple card that is beautiful.

I start out with a base of Natural White card stock
The edge has been ripped using the Tearing Edge and sponged with Soft Suede Classic Ink

I then punched myself a stencil with the new Extra Large Two-Step Bird from the Occasion Mini Catalog. Using Not Quite Navy and Soft Suede Classic Ink, I sponged on this image.

Add on some sentiment. I used the Thank You Kindly stamp set.

Finishing off the card with a piece of Linen Thread.
