Bear Hugs! I miss you card

Here is the bear again from Under the Stars stamp set. He sure does make a cute card! The recipient of this card is going to know that I miss them.

The new Small Heart Punch is the perfect size to punch out the letters stamped from the Calendar Alphabet & Numbers stamp set.
The words "I miss you" come from the stamp set Three Little Words. (Which happens to be a stamp set you can receive free when you purchase $50 in product by March 31. You just need to use the special #120244.)

Valentines Flowers

Happy Valentine's Day to you all.

What a great time to let our friends, family and significant others know that we love them.

I thought today I would share what my oldest son, Mitchel, made for his girlfriend Samantha(Sammy).

A candy Bouquet! 

Using the Big Shot with the Stampin Up! Flower Folds Die along with Rose Red and Regal Rose card stock, he was able to cut petals for his flowers. After layering them he poked a hole through the center to put a Cherry Tootsie pop. Put the end of the lollipop into a straw, wrapping it with Floral tape. 

For his vase he layered MM's and Mini Marshmallows, to hold his flowers in place. Finishing it off with a piece of Rose Red 1" Double Stitched Grosgrain ribbon.

Totally sweet!

Class Valentines

Valentine's Day is upon us and since today is the last school day before Valentine's. I thought I would share some treats. 

This first one was created by my Down Line Shannon Freeman. She used the Heart Treat cups and the  Sweetheart stamp set to create these adorable treats to be handed out by her son RJ.

My son, Jonathan and I went an easier route. We ordered the Love Bots-Boys.             My son easily put these together. Then we put an Oatmeal pie (School Guide lines don't allow candy at my son's school). 

                                        Both Jonathan and I thought of the same thing when we looked at this one. 

We thought of Disney's Laugh Floor,  Where the monsters all greet the humans with "Hello Humans!" and everyone raises their hands and makes a noise.

Valentine Braid

This was fun to make. The braiding is like making boondoggles (something I did often in the summer as a rec center counselor). But instead of using that vinyl stuff you use ribbon. Brilliant!

I wish I could take full credit for this idea. But I was looking at  fellow demonstrators site and just had to make it. 

I LOvE looking at it.

Under the Stars

Valentine's are fun to make. I really enjoyed making this one. I was inspired by a Paper Crafting magazine. Remember you can be inspired by any thing.

To create this card I stamped the Bear from the Under the Stars stamp set in Black Stazon on to Watercolor paper.  

Then I used a Blender Pen and Creamy Caramel and Close to Cocoa Classic Ink along with a Close to Cocoa Stampin' Write Marker.

This heart was actually a free handed heart. The Regal Rose Heart is punched with the Heart to Heart Punch. The Chocolate Chip letters are from the Big Shot. No surprise there. The Timeless Type Sizzlits.

To create the cut letters I just stamped out the letters from the Calendar Alphabet and Numbers stamp set and then cut them apart.

I finished off the card by using my one of my favorite things....... Stampin' Dimensionals. I like for my cards to pop. 

Wondering how I got theold look in the card? Well I  sponged the Very Vanilla card stock with Creamy Caramel Classic Ink.

I plan to give this card to my husband. I want him to know how much I love him. 

I really like this stamp set. Don't be surprised to see more of the Bear in the future.

Simple: I {Heart} Heart Valentine's card

Here is another I {Heart} Heart Valentine's card. This is a very simple and quick card.

To  make this card I cut a piece of 3" x 3" Whisper White card stock. Then I took the new Scallop Trim  Border Punch (Sale-A-Bration Flyer) and punched each side in the center to create this adorable look. 

I stamped 2 of the hearts from the I {Heart} Heart stamp set. The leafy heart has to be hand cut but you can punch out the LOVE heart with the new Small Heart Punch (Occasion Mini Catalog). 

I adhered the small heart on with Snail Adhesive and then used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it up on a layer of Basic Black and Real Red card stock. 

Remember this is the stamp set you can purchase to help Support Haiti!

I {Heart} Heart Valentine's card

This card is just so sparkly! And it even has a matching Very Vanilla envelope.

This card features the new I {Heart} Heart stamp set. This is the stamp set that you can purchase to help support Haiti. 

Every time I look at it, I think WOW! What a cute card. What a beautiful stamp set.


To make this card I cut a piece of 4" x 11" piece of Regal Rose card stock.  
 I scored it at 5 1/2" and again at 8 1/4" .  Using the Stampin' Up! Movers and Shapers Curly Label Die with the Removeable magnetic Heart from the Stampin' UP! Punch Windows. I placed my card inside the die. Made sure that the folded edge falls on the peak and valley of the heart (half of a heart). Since the Big Shot will only cut where there is a full
layers going through, I only cover the portion I want cut. Then you will have half a heart cut. 

Punch out a heart using the Full Heart punch out of Real Red card stock then place it in the center of the Stampin' Up! Embosslit die, Scalloped Heart of Hearts Cut and run it through your Big Shot. Then  use the embosslit  to cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. 
Layer the two hearts and place onto the heart area on the base of the card. 

Take a piece of Very Vanilla card stock stamp it with the following Classic Ink: Pretty in Pink using the polka-dot heart, Regal Rose with the leafy heart, Real Red with love heart and Chocolate Chip on the polka dot outlined heart. 
Finishing of using Versa Mark along with the 3 hearts and Iridescent Ice Emboss Powder. 

Don't forget to heat it with your Heat tool to make the iridescent Ice really sparkle.

Simply Said Valentine

 I just love to use Real Red card stock for a Valentine. 

To create this card I used the 3 heart stamps from the Simply Said Stamp Set. Many forget that there are hearts in that set. Randomly stamping them in Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink Classic ink onto Very Vanilla card stock makes it look like a piece of Designer paper. 

The Popped out hearts area consist of :

Chocolate Chip card stock Mover & Shapers Heart

Very Vanilla card stock

Full Heart Punch

Real Red card stock Heart 

medium heart in the Heart to Heart Punch

Teeny Tiny Wishes words punched out with the Word  Window.

Finishing the card off with a piece of the Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon.

Masculine Valentine's card

This card definitely has a more masculine feel to it. It was so fun to make.  

Take your small piece of Real Red  card stock run it through you Crimper. Then punch out a heart using the Full Heart punch. Adhere that with some Tombow multi purpose glue onto a larger piece of Basic Black card stock. It is best to glue it so you don't lose your visual effect. (Don't push out the bumps)

Then punch out the medium heart from the Heart to Heart punch in Pretty in Pink card stock. Pop it up with a Stampin' Dimensional.  I just LOvE those Dimensionals.

The heart I used to add texture to the back ground page is part of the Things I Love stamp set.
The Beautiful words "Love You Much" are part of a new stamp set found in the Occasion Mini called Well Scripted. It is such a beautiful flowing stamp set. I just had to have it!

Sweetheart Card

I couldn't wait to create with these adorable Heart Treat Cups and the Sweetheart stamp set. 

Using several punches I created this pull tab so you can get the candy out without destroying the card.

To create these wonderful raised dots on the Basic Gray card stock you will need the Stampin' Up! Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impression Folder found in the Occasion Mini Catalog.

I Love EWE card

Today at my Group Meeting for my downline we made this cute card.

Just a quick simple card made from the Big Shot with the Serif Essentials Alphabet and punches. 

The Heart if the Full Heart Punch.

To make the Sheep you will need the Word Window Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch and the Trio Flower Punch. 

Don't Forget your GOOGLIE EYES.They finish off this card so cutely.

I {Love} Love Valentines card

Here's my Leadership Swap. I wanted to share it with you all.  Since I didn't have to much time to put this card together I needed to make a quick and easy card.

I used the new I {Love} Love Jumbo Wheel from the Occasion Mini Catalog. 

Using only Stampin' Up! Punches I was about to create this cute layer finishing it off with a Linen Thread Double Knot attached with a Mini Glue Dot

Wandering Words Valentine's Card

I would have to say the Wandering Words stamp set is one of my favorite stamp sets from this Holiday Mini catalog. 
The stamp set comes with 3 stamps. I have created a card with each. 
Christmas , Thanksgiving and now a Valentine's card.

What a simple and quick card, but yet a WOW! Notice the envelope. Using a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker I colored the mailbox and grass making sure the mailbox looked closed. And when you see the card the mailbox has opened to reveal hearts and a message. 

I stamped the whole image in Stazon Black ink. Punched out some Hearts with the Heart to Heart Punch in Real Red card stock. The beautiful black and white paper is actually the Night & Day Speciallty Designer Series paper from the Holiday Mini catalog. Love Birds

Happy Valentine's Day. 

Today LOvE was in the air. 

Hope you remembered to tell your sweetheart that you LOvE them.

Here is a cute LOvE bird card .

First I used the Sizzix Petal die.  Cutting off both bottom sections I create the heart.

I then stamped out the Bird from Good Friend. To get the reversed image I stamped the body of the bird on Pacific Point Designer Series Paper. Cut it out on the edge, flipped it over and attached it on some Whisper White Card stock.  Before cutting them out of the Whisper White, I stamped the legs and beak. To complete the birds look, I stamped the image of the body again to cut out the wings and make them pop from the page with the help of Stampin' Dimensionals. 

   

Oh yeah I don't want to forget to mention the Naturally Serif Sizzlit Decorative Strip Die I used to create the letters for this card.

Chocolate Elephant

Valentine's Day will soon be here. 

This adorable elephant stamp from a Happy Heart Day stamp set graces the front of my next card.

 I stamped this image twice; once on Very Vanilla card stock and once on a sheet of  Candy Lane Designer Series Paper. I trimmed the chocolate elephant on the line. I adhered him to the card stock. Using the Old Olive Stampin' Marker, I colored the stems. To finish off my flowers I punched hearts using the small heart from the Heart to Heart punch.

This beautiful Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain ribbon completes this card, giving it a finished look.

Necco Candy Box Holder

With  a little stamping  and a little paper crafting I created this Necco Candy Box Holder. The image is from a Happy Heart stamp set. This beautiful outline image was stamped in Basic Black which is a water proof ink, allowing me to water color with a little ink and  aquapainter.

When you pull up on the taffeta ribbon it pulls the candy up. It is very easy to recreate this. 

-Punch a slot with the slot punch on the front and back. 

-Insert ribbon thru then put candy box in pushing down on ribbon until candy box is push in all the way. 

-Tie a knot at the top and then a bow. 

-Cut the ends of your ribbon. and Voila, it is complete.

Hugs & Kisses Candy Box

Using the new Sizzix Box Die now available thru my Stampin' Up! website: www.ginascardsandmore.stampinup.net I created this cute box. Before putting it together I stamped the three hearts from the Love You Much Stamp set to create a designer box. Then I cut a strip of Candy Lane Designer Series Paper to go all the way around the box. Hiding the seam I used the hugs and kisses stamped several times and punch out with various punches. I wrapped each Hershey nugget candy with some Candy Lane Paper to give it a matching look.

Valentine's Purse

At a recent Downline meeting, a fellow demonstrator brought a cute little purse made from 2 small envelopes (3-1/8" x 3-1/8"). It was too cute.

 I just had to make my own. I changed it some but it is still a similar base, made from 2 small envelopes. I used A Happy Heart stamp set to decorate my little purse. The new Eyelet Border created the adorable flap, completed with a Rhinestone Brad.

The inside of the purse has two pockets to put little notes. LOVE IT!

Love you Much card

    Another card made with the Love You Much Bundle. This is one of the cards we made at my Stamp Club this month. My Stamp Club is more of a hybrid club where members get to choose from several dates each month to better fit their schedule. The same projects are offered on the different days. Members still receive all the benefits of a traditional Stamp Club, but have more flexibility on the date that you choose to come stamp each month. For the flower I used 4 small hearts punched from Riding Hood Red Piecing them together with a Vintage Brad in the center. I also used half a old olive heart for the leaf. I also stamped the V on a piece of Close to Cocoa, cutting it out to make a vase for the flower.
