Welcome Christmas into your Heart

I absolutely love those words: Welcome Christmas into your Heart. They are part of the Heard from the Heart stamp set. This snowman is from Two Cool Dudes. The snow on the Baja Breeze is Jolly Wheel that gives a whimsical snow feel. I saw this "brads as buttons idea" on someone card from the Founders Circle swap and thought it would be cute. DON'T FORGET to wipe the ink off the buttons on the stamp.

Happy Harvest

Just in time for the Fall harvest I created this card. Can you tell I love to use dimensionals? It just makes a card pop when something sticks up off the page. The truck and pumpkins are watercolored with aqua painters. Give such a cute effect.

Wishing You Loads of Cheer

Here is yet another card made using the Loads of Love and accessories stamp sets. 

 This is a Shadow Box Card.  I used a masking technique to split the word stamp up.

Here is another card made with the Loads of Love stamp set. I cut out the truck and attached it with Dimensionals to make the card some depth. 

Friends for the Long Haul

I have always liked the Loads of Love stamp set. It is a great set that can be used in many ways,especially if you have the Loads of Love accessories. I love the new Designer Series Paper. In this card I used Bashful Blue Designer Series Paper. This card has a finished size of 5-1/4" x 5-1/4".

Here is a simple card, using the RMHC stamp set Say It with Scallops. It is a very nice way to say thank you. I stamped the image twice. Punched out one with the scallop square punch then the second with the 3/4" square punch on the words then attached it with a dimensional to make the thanks pop out.

As part of a task, I created this card.  I copied the layout but changed 0ut the stamp set and colors.  

I tried to do something a little different from my own personal taste and see what I thought.  I really like the Upsy Daisy stamp set. I wiped off (using a baby wipe) part of the inked image before stamping it. 

SCRAPBOOK PAGE: Sweet Little One

This Sweet Little One is my youngest son Jonathan. It is hard to believe he was that small. 

 I stamped the Bugs and Kisses set in Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue. What a sweet boy page! I added a card made to look like a little baby shirt. the letters are the Sizzix GoGo Boots. 

Technique: Block Lettering

Last night at my Up-Lines meeting I was one of the Round Robin presenters. 

These are the two cards I showed. 

I spoke of how I use smaller pieces of paper when cutting out letters on the Sizzix alphabets.

 This gave me this wonderful idea of Block Lettering. Something simple yet very clean lined look. 

SCRAPBOOK PAGE: Fall

Fall is here. I created a Scrapbook page to fit in with the season. First I stamped my paper with the sanded background stamp then I cut out my leaves using the Sizzix Leaves #2 Die cut on the Big Shot. I used the Sizzix Basket and Blooms Die Cuts to make my bucket.

( yes, the leaves do look as if they are spilling out.)

SCRAPBOOK PAGE: Trick or Treat

Looking through some containers of old Photos I discovered a few Halloween pictures. There were only one of each year so I thought I would put them together on a page. The Designer paper Juntos (available in the Spanish SU! catalog) and coordinating colors gives such a fall feeling to the page.

Halloween Boxes & Baskets

In my looking for new ways to use the Sizzix Die cuts, I discovered cute boxes and baskets were being made 

with the Bigz Scallop Envelope. 

I just had to try it out for myself. 

Since Halloween is the next major holiday I couldn't resist making them into Halloween goodie holders.

pumpkins cut-outs from 

the Fall Harvest wheel.

On the inside you is an 

invitation for pie and coffee. 

Technique: Bleaching & Watercoloring

Here is another bear card. When I saw this set I knew I had to have it. There are just so many possibilities. It is currently on promotion until September 30th. I would love to see how you use him in your next card. 

I used him (Under the Stars) in combination with Hugs & Wishes. I bleached the stars on the background paper and watercolored the bear. I also used Stampin' Dimensionals to make the bear pop out of the card, like he was jumping out to give you that HUG!

I just mounted my Two Cool Dudes stampset and just had to use it. 

So I created this scrapbook page using 3 of the 4 stamps. I also used the Big Shot with the GoGo Boots Die Cut alphabet.

Upsy Daisy Birthday card

I really like this Upsy Daisy stamp set. This set can be used in cards for guys or girls. 

I used Versa mark on Old Olive and Chocolate Chip on Natural Ivory. It is hard to see in this picture but the Chocolate Chip and Natural Ivory are raised from the rest of the card using Stampin' dimensionals. What a difference it makes in how the card looks.  

Square Bear

This bear is so cute. My husband came into the craft room and ask what was up with all the bears. I had stamped many out to make several different cards. Here is just one of those cards. 

This cards finished size is 5-1/4" by 5-1/4".

For more than 2 years I have considered painting these words above my kitchen cabinets. Afraid it wouldn't look right I decide it would wait. Well the wait is finally over.

Thanks a Bunch goodie bag

Yes it is a SOCK MONKEY goodie bag. 

If you haven't yet seen the new Fall/ Winter Idea Book & Catalog, Stampin' Up! has a cute Sock Monkey stamp set. He even has accessories. You can find him on page 51. 

I stamped him several times on Bella Rose Designer Paper, Natural White and Riding Hood Red card stock. Then cut him out and pieced him together. You can buy these bananas either thru a specialty candy store or pick out all the bananas from a box of runts.

Pizza Party Invitation

Here is my adorable pizza party invitation. 

It is made using the BIG SHOT machine and die cuts(Pennant Bigz XL Die, Basket & Blooms Bigz XL die).

Christmas Decoration

Here is a joyous Santa. An easy Child project. He is made using the Big Shot machine with the  

Join in the Cheer die cut and 

Pennant Bigz XL die cut, and 

scallop circle and scallop edge punches.

Sunflower Birthday card

Today at my BIG SHOT OPEN HOUSE we will make this card. The finished size of this card is 5-1/4" x 5-1/4". I used the Sizzix Scallop Circle #2 and Leaves #2 die cuts in my Big Shot. 

Under Stars Motion card

Here's another motion card. This is cased from Brent's card from convention. Now I just need to get some hardware to complete the card. I hope you can tell the bear arms move, so it looks as if he is flying along with the mosquitos. Under the Stars is an adorable set that also includes a raccoon a sleeping bag, smores and more. It is current one of the set that is on sale(until Sept 30).

FUN in the SUN scrapbook page

Here are the 6 x 6 pages we will make in my Scrappin' Class this afternoon. I am trying to encourage the use of stamps in albums. They make such a cute addition.  We also used the Big Shot GOGO BOOTS alphabet die cuts for our lettering. 

But not everyone has 6 x 6 albums so I showed how they could easily be converted to               

8-1/2 x 11 album page or even 12 x 12 album pages.  

Upsy Daisy Thank you card

Here is another card designed for a workshop. I used the exclusive Stampin' Up! SIZZIX  Bigz Top Note die cut to make the shape that the flower is stamped on. i used the crop-a-dile to put in the jumbo eyelet.

Happy Butterfly Card

This picture doesn't do this adorable card justice. The butterfly just pops off the card. This is a card we will make at an in home workshop tonight. Shannon did you peek?

Pretty Amazing thinking of you card

I just absolutely LOVE this humming bird.I stamped the flower in 2 colors then cut the lighter one around the smaller petals. And of course I had to add some glitter.
