What an original! He is just so fresh and inventive!
I can't help but want to put him all over everything. This card features a plaid technique crafted by using the Brayer and several inks. What a great look for a masculine card.

"SWISH you a Happy Birthday".
Thought of if purely by accident.
I was cutting out the word SWISH and
realized it looks like wish... and what do you say for someone's birthday but I wish you a Happy Birthday. So I just had to do it.
The basketball net was stamped Vellum card stock. This allows for you to see the basketball in the hoop.

Birthday Card Contest
Here is another card using that adorable bear from Under the Stars stamp set.
This time I paired it up with the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set.
The colors on this card are great. Totally inspired by the Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper.
Don't forget the Cupcake Wheel on the Base of the card.
I just love how he just pops out from the cupcake.
This reminds me I wanted to tell you about my Birthday card contest. Click here to find out more. This contest is open to all.
Have you made a card using this Bear? I would love to see it. Leave me a comment with a connection to your project or send me an email.

Birthday cupcake card
Here is a fun Birthday card. I really enjoyed making this one.
I stamped the cupcake from the Simple Birthday Thanks stamp on three times, on Real Red card stock for the cherry section, onto a piece of Whisper White card stock that has been swirled using a shaving cream technique and a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock for the base.
I cut out each section right on the line. Run the base of your cupcake through your Paper Crimper, wrap a piece of Pretty in Pink Tafetta ribbon around the base and tie into a pretty knot.
The frosting area needed something so I first added on 1/4" Chocolate Chip circles onto desired areas then applied Two Way Glue and Dazzling Diamond to each.
Using Stampin' Dimensionals I pieced the cupcake back together onto the base of my card. This makes the cupcake pop off the card.
SHAVING CREAM
Here is another great example of how to use the Shaving Cream technique. It really makes beautiful Easter Eggs.(This card features the In Colors from last year and A Good Egg stamp set.)

SHAVING CREAM
· Fill your container with shaving cream and use your wooden stick to smooth it out a bit.
· Add several drops of each of your re-inker colors to your shaving cream.
· Mix Shaving Cream and re-inker in a swirling motion continue to mix until you like the design you like
· Press cardstock into shaving cream. Make sure to the card front is completely coated.
Take paper towel and wipe away shaving cream in swirling motion, let dry and complete card. Here is another great example of how to use the Shaving Cream technique. It really makes beautiful Easter Eggs.(This card features the In Colors from last year and A Good Egg stamp set.)

Staircase Birthday Card
Here is one of the cards that my Stamp club made in March. I thought this card was a great way to feature the staircase card.
Adding such cute flowers to the middle step. To make these flowers I used my Big Shot and the Stampin' Up! Blossom Party Die and Stampin' Up! Birds and Blooms Sizzlits Dies. I also used some a Vintage Brad and a So Saffron Flower brad from the Flower Assortment Designer Brads.
Several stamp sets were used in this card. They are On a Pedestal, On Your Birthday and A Little Birthday Cheer.

Chocolate Bunny Treat Bag
Looking for a cute and simple treat for co workers.
How about the little Chocolate Bunny, page 43 of the Occasion Mini Catalog. He is so realistic looking.
I stamped him in Chocolate Chip Craft ink on Close to Cocoa Card stock then I used Clear Embossing Powder. This really added to the dimension. Finished it off by cutting out this adorable bunny. A little Easter grass in a Medium Flat Cellophane Bag (page 158 of the Idea Book & Catalog) with a serving of jelly beans.
Finishing the bag off by tying some Pretty in Pink Tafetta Ribbon around the top with a little tag. The words from Eight Great Greetings stamp set stamped out then punched with the Medium Jewlery Tag punch, found on page 10 of the Occasion Mini Catalog.
