Spooky Bear

Now that Fall is here, it won't be long till Halloween.
I love pairing this bear from Under the Stars with other stamp sets. This time I used Wicked Cool
Using my Big Shot I cut out a Top Note of Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock. Trimmed the black piece on the dotted lines to layer it on the White piece. I stamped the cobwebs in White Stazon on the Black for a spooky background.
For my words I punched it out with the new Stampin' Up! Decorative Label punch. I shadowed it with 2 bats I punched using the Stampin' Up! Bitty Bat punch.

Craft box

I wanted to share with you how I used some of my Vinyl images from the Spooky Things Decor Elements in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog to add a little character to my son's art box. He choose to use the spiders.
See the third spider on the back side.
These spiders would look great anywhere. I am thinking how great they would look on my front door as Halloween Decoration.
We also took some of the raw vinyl and cut out his name using my handy dandy BIG SHOT and  the Serif Essentials Alphabet Bigz Dies
I sure do love my Big Shot.

Autumn Harvest Cards

In September I offered an Autumn Harvest Pre-purchase class.

This is a class where we make 5 projects using one stamp set. In this class the projects all used the Autumn Harvest Stamp Set.

I try to make different types of projects so you can get a variety of uses of your stamp set.

If you would like to attend my next Pre-Purchase Class, Check out my calendar.

Happy Halloween

Wishing You a GHOULISH Day! Here is a cute halloween card made using Under the Stars. The candy corn was made by layering a 1/4" circle of white, 1/2' circle of Summer Sun, and 3/4 circle of Pumpkin Pie. Then you cut it into pie slice and you have your candy corn. I made the lollipop out of a portion of toothpick and 1/2 circle covered with glitter. The bag is 3/4" x 1" with elastic cord for the handle.

Halloween Treats

With Halloween drawing near I am always looking for great ways to decorate candy or candy boxes.

The spider has a peppermint patty between the layers. It is made using scallop punch, circle punches and photo corner punch.

The mummy is made from the Sizzix Top note and Circle punches. It is the front of a candy box.

Halloween Card

Halloween is a favorite time of year in my house. I enjoying sending out Halloween cards.
An ink pad was used with the Jumbo Outline Alphabet to stamp out Halloween, but markers were used to fill in the letters and to ink up parts of stamps. The word happy actually came from Happy New Year out of the Holiday & Wishes stamp set. The cat and pumpkin are from Batty for You.

SCRAPBOOK PAGE: Trick or Treat

Looking through some containers of old Photos I discovered a few Halloween pictures. There were only one of each year so I thought I would put them together on a page. The Designer paper Juntos (available in the Spanish SU! catalog) and coordinating colors gives such a fall feeling to the page.

Halloween Boxes & Baskets

In my looking for new ways to use the Sizzix Die cuts, I discovered cute boxes and baskets were being made
with the Bigz Scallop Envelope

I just had to try it out for myself.

Since Halloween is the next major holiday I couldn't resist making them into Halloween goodie holders.
