One of my favorite thing about Christmas is Christmas cards.

This is a cute card I received from my down line Ingrid Ward

Cold & Cuddly Chocolate holders

Here's some LOVE to keep you warm.

What a cute saying for a candy holder. I love the little penguin from the Cold & Cuddly stamp set. Using my Stampin' Write markers I was able to give this image lots of color.
You can make 4 holders out of 1 sheet of card stock. First score your paper on the 8 1/2" side at 3", 6", 6 1/2", 7 1/4", and 7 3/4" then cut on the 11" side making each piece 2 3/4" wides.  The Word Window punch makes a great slot to put a piece of nice chocolate in.
My son and I made many of these to be given out to his friends. Just a little something to let them know we care.
I forgot to mention that this Stamp is only available until January 4th. Don't forget the Holiday Mini Catalog items are only available until January 4th. So place your order today by visiting my website at www.ginascardsandmore.stampinup.net

The More the Merrier Christmas Window Card

Here is a different type of card, a Window Card.

To create this card you will need to cut a 1 1/2" strip of Window Sheet to replace a portion of the base of your card.
Adhere it the the base with Two-Way glue, overlapping it a 1/4" on each side. Dress it up with some Holiday Lounge Designer Series Paper.
The Heard From the Heart stamp set is a wonderful size to be seen through the window.

If you would like to learn how to make this card contact me at ginadygert@yahoo.com

Snow Buddies Birthday Card

Here is a cute winter birthday card.
This card was crafted by my downline, Shannon Freeman

This was the card she made for her son's 6th birthday.
What a great job she did.
She used the Snow Buddies stamp set. To create her snow hills she ripped pieces of Bashful Blue and Brilliant Blue card stock and applied Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the edges.

Orange Cranberry Bread Recipe Card

I need to get baking today. I love to have Orange Cranberry Bread for Christmas Breakfast.
This is a wonderful recipe.

*Just a little secret on chopping cranberries: I usually keep my Cranberries in the freezer and chop it with a food chopper.

This recipe card is crafted by using the Soft Holly wheel on Garden Green card stock. To create cranberries I punched 1/2" circles out of Real Red card stock and sponged them with Rich Razzleberry Classic ink
The orange slices are created with the Tart and Tangy stamp set. Stamped in Pumpkin Pie Classic ink on Whisper White card stock, punched pieced out with 1" circle punch and layered in a  of Pumpkin Pie card stock punched out with the 1 1/4" circle punch.

Scenic Season Christmas Card

Only 6 More days until Christmas!

I can't believe it is almost Christmas. I made this card to send to most of my Family and some friend. It was an easy card to mass produce.

Using the Scenic Season stamp set inking up the Trees with Garden Green Classic Ink(mask over the words before you ink). Then I wiped any ink off the bird. Ink up the bird with a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker. Now stamp it onto a piece of Whisper White card stock(4 1/2 x 3 1/4). I used the Seasons Greetings from Many Merry Messages stamp set.  Stamping on a separate piece of Whisper White card stock.  Cutting it out and mounting it on. To get a nice snowy effect, Two way glue and Dazzling Diamonds on the tree and ground. I tried to image where snow would be on a tree.

Makes me think of all the snowy Christmas I have seen as a child.
Wouldn't it be great to have a white Christmas. One can only hope:)

One of my Christmas Traditions is to include a Christmas Picture into my Christmas card. These are my wonderful sons, and my cat and dog. I thought this turned out to be a good picture. Everyone seemed to want to look out towards the camera.

This a quick and simple card with a little embossing.
Sponging the edges of the ornaments to give a little dimension.
This adorable candy cane striped paper is from Merry Moments Designer Series Paper.

Snow Swirled Christmas card

Here is another project using the Snow Swirled Stamp set.  The intent was for the snow to be waving in. It isn't as easy to see the shiny parts of the card in this photo.

It was a fun card to create. Using only the snowflakes from the set we stamped, embossed, stamped, embossed, stamped and embossed. It really gives it a layered look.

Supplies:
card stock:Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White
ink: Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip Classic;Whisper White craft: versa mark
accessories: Ticket punch; White and Iridescent Ice Embossing powder; Chocolate Chip taffeta ribbon

Delightful Decorations Christmas Card

I have seen many cards  cards where the ornament has been punched into the base of the card.

This is my version. I used the  words from Many Merry Messages stamp set and the ornament stamp from Delightful Decorations stamp set

The base of the card is Real Red card stock. Christmas Cocoa Designer Series Paper is placed on top of Soft Suede card stock.

To complete the card, the Ornament punch is punched into the bottom of your card. Punch in just far enough not to be close to the edge. Then close the card and put your ornament through the punched window. This is the easiest way to line up the ornament.

Sweet Season Candy Bar

A Beautiful way to dress up a plain candy bar.

This is a Hershey Bar wrapped with Chocolate Chip card stock followed by Merry Moments Designer Series Paper trimmed with a 1/4" strip of Real Red card stock. I stamped with Stampin' Write markers and the Sweet Season stamp set onto Very Vanilla card stock then punched it out with the Wide Oval punch and then sponged around the edge so it wouldn't look so stark.

Tote-ally Tess Framed Art

Here is a sneak peek into a stamp set that is available in the Occasion Mini starting January 5th.

I used the Tote-ally Tess stamp set to create this one of a kind framed art.

Actually there are 2 of them.
I made one for my self and the other as my gift for our Christmas party. Gifts were to be hand crafted.
Of course all the participants are also Stampin' Up Demonstrators.
So this will be a wonderful piece of art for who ever gets it.

Pick a Petal Christmas Angel

I have made several variations of this Christmas Angel using the Pick a Petal stamp set

Remember you do not have to use a set the way it was intended. This one was to make flowers. I like the beauty it adds to her dress. I have also made a Get Well card featuring this set before.

Do you own this stamp set? I would love to see what you have made using the Pick a Petal stamp set.
I might even post your cards here on my blog (with your permission). Send your creations to ginadygert@yahoo.com

*I have added another picture to show you another view. She is a Christmas tag. Her Halo is made from punching a 1" circle punch into a Brushed Gold card stock. Then punch a 1 1/4" circle punch around it.

Wandering Words with Neighborhood Jumbo wheel Christmas Card

Here is another Christmas card made using the Santa and reindeer stamp from the Wandering Words stamp set.

This card the sky is sponged, a circle  stencil for the moon and the sky around. To get the houses I wheeled the Neighborhood Jumbo wheel in Whisper White craft ink onto Basic Black Card stock. Then cut out the houses leaving ground to connect the house. Flip it over before adhering it to my card. This way there are no lines showing.
I then glittered the tops of the house and the ground using Two Way Glue and Dazzling Diamond Glitter.
Now it looks like a real winter scene.

The More the Merrier Christmas Card

I do LOvE snowmen.
Here is a Christmas card with a little bit of coloring. I find coloring to be very relaxing.

I guess you could say this is a hostess card since it is made using hostess stamp sets*, A level 3 The More the Merrier and a level 2 Christmas Punch. The words come from Teeny Tiny Wishes. A great word set that can be punched out using the Word Window Punch.

We stamped the Let It Snow stamp from the Big on Christmas  stamp set onto Whisper White card stock. Colored it in using my Stampin' Write Markers

Two Cool Dudes Christmas card

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?

Here is another cute Christmas card. Similar to one I made last year.

This card features the Two Cool Dudes and Heard From the Heart stamp sets.

First I wheel the base of my card, Kraft card stock with the Jolly wheel inked in Not Quite Navy Classic Ink.
The rest of the card is stamped with Stampin' Write Markers. This allows me to use multiple colors on a stamp or omit portions that I don't want like a scarf or buttons.

I then made my own buttons from some Vintage Brads and a scarf from some Red Gingham Ribbon

Snowman Christmas Tag

Christmas Tags can dress up any gift.

This tag was created by mounting a snowman created from punches onto a piece of Taken with Teal card stock

What a great color for Christmas!

Do you recognize all the punches?

Circles are easy, but the nose. Now that was created by sliding a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock into the Star punch. Just enough to get the triangle shape I wanted.

His branch arms are crafted from the Stampin' Up Jumbo Snowflake punch. I just trimmed off a branch.

The cute To & From stamp is part of the Winter Post stamp set while the snowflakes come from the Level 2 hostess Christmas Punch Stamp set.

Holiday Line Up Christmas Card

These adorable reindeer are from the Holiday Line Up Stamp Set

The key to this card is a Bashful Blue Stampin' Write marker. I outlined the reindeer around the outer line with Bashful Blue and it makes them pop.

Don't forget to make Rudolph's nose sparkle. I colored it in first with a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker. That way there is no white spots coming showing through your glitter.

Then I added Two Way Glue over the top and added some red glitter from the Fine Cosmo Stampin' Glitter.

Wnadering Words Christmas card

Here is a simple Christmas card using the Wandering Words stamp set.

Using a mix of the Frost White Shimmer paint and rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle to add shimmer to the card.
The moon is circle punched out. I stamped the image twice once on the moon and once on the Ballet Blue card stock

Then glue the moon over the same part of the image.
The snow is Whisper White card stock that was embossed using my Big Shot and the Stampin' Up! Petals-A-Plenty folder
I free handed the cutsfor rolling hills. Glittered the tops with Two Way Glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

A simple card.
